Snack
Snack is optional, but highly recommended. I encourage you to pack a healthy snack separately from your child’s lunch that they can eat during the afternoon. Snacks must be nut free. No candy is allowed in the classroom and please make sure snacks are not too messy.
Water Bottles
I also encourage you to send a water bottle to school with your child. It is important that they are able to hydrate themselves when they need it. Water is the only drink allowed in the classroom (no juice or pop).
Take Home Folders
Students will have a take home folder for homework, class work, and notes to go between school and home. Please check their folder daily.
Birthdays
On your child’s birthday, they are welcome to bring in one of their favorite books to read with the class as we celebrate their special day.
If your child’s birthday is during summer vacation, we will celebrate him or her on their half birthday.
